Irrigation Research Papers
Irwin H. Roberts Collection
Dr. Irwin H. Roberts specialized in large animal external parasite research for the USDA from the late 1930s to 1976. The agency's Meritorious Service Award in 1952 recognized his work leading to the control of scabies. Roberts served as director of the USDA parasite research laboratory in Albuquerque, NM, from 1962 until his retirement in 1976. This collection consists of historical veterinary books and instruments.

Journals of Philemon P. Black
Philemon P. Black farmed 80 acres of land that he named Sunnyside Ranch on the north side of Terry Lake near Fort Collins, Colorado. This collection consists of four farm journals dated 1889 to 1893, which have now been digitized for access online. Brief daily entries discuss the weather, irrigation, farm chores, social activities, and crops including alfalfa, oats, wheat, popcorn, hay, and orchard fruits.

Letterbooks of Clarence P. Gillette
C.P. Gillette (1859-1941) was the first professor of entomology at Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University). During his 40 years at CAC he was a professor, served as state entomologist, and was head of the Experiment Station. The collection contains copies of letters written by C.P. Gillette.

The Local Colorado and Regional History Collection is a collection of local and Colorado history documents, photographs, aerial photographs, and maps as well as a small amount of material that does not relate to Colorado. The collection was acquired over time and includes student class papers as well as papers written by local historians, correspondence, and reports. Subjects primarily include Fort Collins and Northern Colorado history, and irrigation and agricultural history of Colorado.

McComb Agricultural Technology in Colorado Collection
This collection consists of a report by Dr. David McComb entitled 'Agricultural Technology and Society in Colorado,' along with 138 black and white photographs which illustrate the points Dr. McComb makes in his paper. Photo subjects include: machines, houses, crops, irrigation systems, and people. The report was published in 1981 as a book of the same title, which publicized the Colorado Agricultural History Project.
Memorabilia of Charles N. Shepardson
Charles N. Shepardson was a 1917 graduate of Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University) and a noted leader in dairy husbandry and agricultural economics. He served on the Board of Governors for the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C., from 1955-1967. The collection includes certificates, plaques, and photographs.
