John Albright National Park Service Collection
Abstract
As historian and project manager for the Denver Service Center of the National Park Service, John N. Albright taught new Park Service employees throughout the country about the history and mission of the organization. After twenty years with the Denver Service Center, Albright continued teaching for another decade in the Department of History at Colorado State University. This collection includes Albright's working papers from the Denver Service Center, park-related course materials, notes from his participation in the American Industrial Heritage Project, and his personal reference library of works related to the National Park Service. Material types include artifacts, conference proceedings, correspondence, manuals, publications, reports, and videotapes.
