Irmel Louise Fagan (1913-2010) served at Colorado State University as Director of the Physical Education Department for Women. She began as an instructor at Colorado State University in 1957, becoming the director of the physical education program following the retirement of Elizabeth Forbes in 1959. Material types in this collection include papers, bound volumes, one manuscript, musical scores, audiovisual material, and ephemera relating to women's athletics.

Gregory Bueche was head of the department of music at Colorado State University from 1937 to 1968. He was a noted music educator and composer. His collection consists of compositions, exams and tests, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and biographical information. Four recordings of performances are also included in the collection.

Wendel Diebel was a composer and professor of piano at Colorado State University for almost 30 years. The collection contains four printed scores.
