Abstract
The Records of the American Indian ABE Teacher and Teacher Aide Training Project document the federally grant-funded initiative at Colorado State University to provide basic adult education to Native American populations, primarily the Apsalooke (Pryor Crow/Crow), Nuuchu/Nuu-ciu (Ute), and the Niitstitapi (Blackfoot) tribes, in the 1970s. Materials include lists of participants and advisors, publications of specific tribal histories, information on interview techniques, and a lesson plan.
