Abstract
For six days in September 2013, historic levels of rain fell over much of the Northern Colorado Front Range causing massive flooding and landslides that killed eight people and caused over $2 billion in damage to homes, businesses, farms, and irrigation structures. Abstract
Glen D. Schlueter is a retired stormwater engineer who worked for the City of Fort Collins (Colorado) Stormwater Utility for 28 years. He participated in the Stormwater Utility's response to the July 28, 1997, Spring Creek flood event and its aftermath. The collection contains materials collected by Schlueter related to the flood. Materials include newspaper articles, newsletters, technical documents, reports, phone records of emergency calls, VHS tapes, and a DVD.
