Abstract

The mission of the Office of Budgets is to provide research and analysis on internal and external affairs in support of executive decision-making, with regard to factors affecting university planning and reporting and to formulate policy and provide analysis on university budgetary issues. The budgetary function exists to prepare, monitor and distribute university budgets from legislative requests to the final operating budget of the University in support of the University’s mission of education, research, public service and extension.

The Records of the Office of Budgets consists of records dated 1955 to 2006. Materials consist of documents including a building index of all campuses from 1981; facilities and appropriation reports; controlled maintenance budget requests; and capital construction and program plans.
