The Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation offers Colorado State University students practical experience producing media for the campus community. The organization was established in 2008 as an independent nonprofit media company which provides news, entertainment, and other content to the CSU and Fort Collins communities. RMSMC publishes the daily student newspaper, the Rocky Mountain Collegian, Collegian Television (CTV, formerly Campus Television), KCSU-FM radio, and the quarterly College Avenue magazine. The Collegian was a university publication until 2008, when it split away from the university to gain editorial independence, bringing the other RMSMC publications with it.
The University Archive holds a collection of more than 800 digital copies of episodes produced by CTV and originally broadcast between 1998 and 2013. Most of the episodes are from the following shows: CTV News, CTV Sportsfest, CTV Talk, CTV Full Tilt, Channel 11 News, Full Court Press, Back Yard Videos, and Good Grubbin. Many of the videos were originally in DVD or VHS format, and RMSMC staff and volunteers digitized them. Available broadcasts contain a selection of 26 episodes drawn from the abovementioned shows except for Back Yard Videos which is not represented here.
RMSMC broadcasts from after 2013 are located on the CTV 11 YouTube page.
