Biography

The Livestock Club at Colorado State University (CSU) was the largest student club on campus in the 1960s. During College Days the club hosted the Skyline Stampede, the largest intercollegiate rodeo in the United States. Raylene McWilliams Owens was a member and secretary of the Livestock Club and was chosen as the 1963 Skyline Stampede Queen. After graduating, she became a certified horsemanship instructor in the Denver area.
