George Beach was a professor of horticulture at Colorado State University. He authored a number of book for the Colorado Experiment Station on the subjects on grasses, landscaping, and fruit trees.
George Anderson Beach was born on May 18, 1902. He earned his B.S. from Colorado State College (now Colorado State University) and his M.S. from Cornell University. He was a professor of horticulture and a staff member of the experiment station at Colorado State University from 1934 to 1966. George Beach died on October 17, 1994 in Fort Collins.
