Abstract

Pi Omega Pi is the National Business Education Teacher Honor Society, which has the purpose of promoting scholarship and service in the area of business education and was founded in 1923. Colorado State University, Pi Omega Pi, Delta Tau Chapter was initiated May 21, 1961, as a fraternity. The last documented active members were three females ending in 1973. The Records of Pi Omega Pi collection contain a charter, bylaws, directories, chapter yearbooks, meeting minutes, publications, correspondence, photographs, a plaque, and more.

The collection consists of 1 record carton and 1 roll.

Acquisition

The Records of Pi Omega Pi were donated after 1974 by the Delta Tau Chapter of Pi Omega Pi or Fraternity & Sorority Life of the Division of Student Affairs.

Processing

As of June 2018, the collection was found housed in an acidic box and folders with one roll of photographs. The collection was believed to have been processed just prior to the June 8, 1993, inventory. The finding aid was created with the collection as found and using the existing inventory.
