Disclosures 190-248, 1976-1989

This subseries combines the Colorado Office of the Attorney General's (CAG) Discovery Papers with the Discovery and Investigation Files. It contains all materials of a factual nature produced and generated in the course of discovery, investigation, and trial preparation, regardless of whether they are included in any other files. Formal discovery papers such as notices of deposition, requests for production of documents, requests for admissions and responses, interrogatories and answers, motion papers relating to discovery, and discovery orders are also present. Material types include legal documents, correspondence, publications (mostly photocopies), notes, data, scrapbooks, photographs and negatives, slides, cassette tapes, floppy disks, and VHS tapes. CAG did not provide a separate set of formal Discovery Papers, but instead, most of these documents were interfiled with the Discovery and Investigation Files before donation. Interested parties may consult the "Discovery" file, but they should use the "Discovery index" to locate these documents. Materials are arranged numerically by Disclosure and roughly in the order of their production. To determine folder contents, refer to the index at the beginning of this subseries entitled "Discovery index." Note that Disclosures 2728-2747 are not listed in "Discovery index."
