Pa Mong photos, undated
Scope and Contents
Photographs are found throughout most of this collection, incorporated in reports or other places, and were not removed to this series. Those in this series were not attached to anything. The first photograph in the series was found in one of Borland's books and is unidentified as to time, place, and person. The remaining photos are presumably from Borland's 1968-1969 trip to Laos and Thailand for the Pa Mong Project and may have been taken by him. The photos show the Mekong River from different angles (including aerial shots) and locations, the banks of the river, and some of the local people involved and the equipment they used. Duplicates of most of the Pa Mong photos exist, and all of them remain in the order in which they were found.
