Indexed articles, 1912-1997

This series consists of indexed articles and their related indexes. Borland either photocopied or clipped numerous articles and chapters of books that related to his research over the years. He created indexing systems according to subject and in one case by source of the articles. The index outlines for subseries 2 through 6 can be found in the appendix. Borland stored the articles in either large binders or half-size binders, and these remain intact. The articles are from a variety of sources, including international ones, and are sometimes annotated. Photographs can occasionally be found in the binders. Arrangement is by subseries corresponding to Borland's different indexing schemes
