Index to obituaries published in Kirchenbote and The Christian Messenger, 1994

This series includes photocopies of the obituaries published in Kirchenbote, a German language church messenger, and The Christian Messenger which was published by the Pioneer Press, Yankton, South Dakota. Copies of Kirchenbote date from 1947 to 1953 and 1959 to 1964, with a few copies from 1937 and 1943. All entries are in German. There is also an additional list of obituaries extracted from Kirchenbote from 1951 to 1963 and printed in English by the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. The Christian Messenger copies date from 1957 to 1961. An index for both publications, in English, is also included.
