East Fork bed mtl [material] and bed load size, 1976-1980
Scope and Contents
This small subseries consists of two studies in which Nordin participated as a research hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey. The first study examined scour and fill of the bed of East Fork River, Sublette County, Wyoming, in 1979 and resulted in a paper for the 1981 International Association of Hydrological Sciences Symposium on Erosion and Sediment Transport. With the exception of a small amount of correspondence, the files for the study contain data and charts. The second study took place on a reach of La Poudre Pass Creek and the Cache la Poudre River below Long Draw Reservoir in Larimer County, Colorado, and documented channel morphology. Materials from the La Poudre Pass study consist of one folder, containing a field book, correspondence, and notes. Materials have no particular order.
