Consulting and research, 1941-1997 and undated

This series consists of Nordin's compiled research for numerous domestic and international consulting projects. Most of the materials concern river mechanics and sediment transport. Data, analysis, correspondence, and reports make up the bulk of this series. Nordin used field books and photographs to collect data while working on the projects in this series, which can be found in Series 3 and Series 6. The series is divided into seven subseries. Subseries compile project files by geographical location or organization and are listed in rough chronological order. The exception is Subseries 1.7, which is a large, general set of subject files containing Nordin's compiled sediment research.
