Secretary-Manager's Report, 1939-1962
Scope and Contents
The Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District (NCWCD) is a public agency created in 1937 to contract with the federal government to build the Colorado-Big Thompson Project. The C-BT collects water west of the Continental Divide and delivers it to Northeastern Colorado for agricultural, municipal, domestic and industrial uses. Lory was a long-time member of the NCWCD, and materials include meeting minutes and memos, copies of government contracts, operations and maintenance reports, and secretary-managers reports. Subject matter will overlap with the Colorado Water Conservation Board subseries. Materials are organized alphabetically by title.
