 File — Box: 1, Folder: 13
Identifier: Subseries 1.1

Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This subseries contains faculty and Extension staff papers that include individuals' files containing correspondence, department histories, notes on work, playbills for dramatic productions, and faculty and staff obituaries. Most individual files are scant with only correspondence, notes, vitae, and obituaries contained within. This subseries contains a blueprint and sketch of the Model Cottage at the Chautauqua grounds in Boulder, Colorado, created by Theodosia Ammons. Files on the history of Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University), personal reflections, speech transcripts, and department histories are among the papers contained in George Glover's records. Transcripts from Ralph Parshall's KOA radio programs are also included as well as news releases. Transcripts from an unidentified radio show exist in S. Arthur Johnson's records as well. Extension articles by Blanche Hyde on sewing exist both removed from and in complete magazines. W.P. (William Parker) Headdon's notes on his fieldwork in agronomy are included. Ruth Wattles' papers contain a draft and final copy of a proposal to write a history of irrigation and reclamation in Colorado. One file is restricted to only the person named. At the end of the subseries are general materials related to the faculty, including lists of publications by faculty and staff members. Individual faculty files are arranged alphabetically by last name. The general faculty and staff files follow and are in alphabetical order as well.
