This subseries comprises Tom Sutherland’s time as Dean of Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science at American University in Beirut. Tom took the position in 1983 before being taken hostage by Islamic Jihad in 1985. Materials are primarily memoranda and administrative documents, though some official social events attended or hosted by Tom and Jean are represented. Materials are arranged alphabetically.
