The Mountain Campus Museum is housed in the original Koenig homestead cabin at the Mountain Campus. Since 1912, Colorado State University has used the Mountain Campus (formerly Pingree Park) for field research and training. James R. Miller (1891-1978) was appointed Secretary to the State Board of Agriculture in 1939 and served Colorado State University in that capacity for eighteen years. During his more than twenty year affiliation with the school, Miller became an amateur historian of the University. Terrence "Terry" Finnegan was the leader in the effort to erect the Vietnam Era Memorial Bridge at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Originally intended as a tribute to a fellow CSU alum, Bill Latch, the Memorial was expanded in concept to pay tribute to both anti-war advocates and Vietnam veterans.
