Abstract Louis G. Carpenter (1861-1935), irrigation engineer, was appointed professor and head of engineering and physics at the Colorado Agricultural College in 1888. He became director of the Colorado Experiment Station at that institution in 1899 and remained at the college until 1911. Abstract William E. Morgan (1909-2005) served as president of Colorado Agricultural and Mechanical College/Colorado State University from 1949 to 1969.
