Abstract

The Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity was established at Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University) in 1922 and was disbanded in 2001. The collection consists of materials related to the fraternity, including photocopies of manuals, meeting minutes, a chorus book, historical materials, Greek Council material, photocopies of applications, a scrapbook, newsletters, 2 oversize photographs of fraternity members, and t-shirts.

Abstract Pi Omega Pi is the National Business Education Teacher Honor Society, which has the purpose of promoting scholarship and service in the area of business education and was founded in 1923. Colorado State University, Pi Omega Pi, Delta Tau Chapter was initiated May 21, 1961, as a fraternity. The last documented active members were three females ending in 1973. Abstract

Extra-curricular student activities on the campus of Colorado State University first began in November 1879 with the establishment of the Philosophian Literary Society. The Records of Student Activities documents various groups and activities pertaining to student life at CSU, including social clubs, fraternities and sororities, and academic clubs. Materials include constitutions and bylaws, membership information, correspondence, and photographs.

Abstract Alpha Chi Omega, founded on October 15, 1885, at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, is a social sorority dedicated to advancing "the intellectual, social and moral culture" of its members. Delta Upsilon chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was initiated at Colorado State University on October 15, 1965, as the 101st national chapter.
