Abstract Byron Winn (1933-2011) played an instrumental role in the Solar Village, a full-scale implementation of solar heating principles, conducted on the Colorado State University foothills campus. He taught in the mechanical engineering department at CSU from 1970 until 2002. The bulk of the collection consists of papers and reports written by Winn.
