Colorado Cannabis Collecting Initiative
The Colorado Marijuana Legalization Amendment, also known as Amendment 64, was a historic initiative ballot measure to amend the Colorado State Constitution, outlining a statewide drug policy for the cultivation and recreational use of cannabis. The measure passed on November 6, 2012. The collection contains text-based materials, photographs, ephemera, and oral histories documenting the passage of legislation regarding recreational marijuana and its socio-economic impact.

James P. Johnson represented Colorado's Fourth District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1972 to 1980 as a member of the Republican party. He served on the Agriculture and Interior Committees and was one of thirteen members of Congress chosen to investigate the Central Intelligence Agency in 1975. This collection includes personal and political papers, project files, and correspondence from Mr. Johnson's eight years in Congress.

Larry Penley was president of Colorado State University from 2003 to 2008. This collection documents some of the writings, decisions, and studies during his tenure. The collection contains Penley's correspondence, speech transcripts, Alcohol Task Force documents, reports, and university publications.
Papers of Margaret A. Johnston
Margaret A. Johnston worked in a variety of roles (including interpretation, law enforcement, and as a superintendent) for the National Park Service (NPS) from 1974 until her 2007 retirement. Her work broke many barriers for females in the Park Service. The bulk of the collection consists of items highlighting Johnston's NPS career. Additional materials include Johnston's personal writings, a biography written by her husband, and memorabilia.

Vujica M. Yevjevich (1913-2006), a native of Yugoslavia, was a professor, lecturer, consultant, and researcher of hydrologic engineering. Yevjevich taught in Colorado State University's engineering department from 1960 until his retirement in 1979. The collection contains notes, essays, correspondence, graphs, maps, and technical information on his work in hydrology, mostly international in nature.
Records of Professional and Academic Organizations
The Records of Professional and Academic Organizations consists primarily of records from the Colorado State University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). Records from the Colorado Library Association and the Faculty Women's Caucus are included as well. Two speech transcripts by William E. Morgan and Milton S. Eisenhower are also included.
Records of the American Indian ABE Teacher and Teacher Aide Training Project
The Records of the American Indian ABE Teacher and Teacher Aide Training Project document the federally grant-funded initiative at Colorado State University to provide basic adult education to Native American populations in the 1970s. Materials include lists of participants and advisors, publications of specific tribal histories, information on interview techniques, and a lesson plan.
Records of the Bridges to the Future Initiative
"Bridges to the Future: American History and Values in Light of 9/11" was a yearlong, statewide initiative, led by Colorado State University and the University of Denver, that brought international speakers and events to challenge and inspire conversations regarding leadership, engagement, and the future of the United States. The collection contains information regarding program planning and events, publications, and press releases.
