Charles Lummis (1859-1928) was a noted author, photographer, ethnographer, archaeologist, and librarian. Gaining fame for walking from Ohio to California in the 1880s, Lummis spent much of his life documenting and protecting the lives and activities of the people of the Southwest United States. The collection contains letters, photographs, publications, music, and newspaper clippings.
