Abstract Ronald W. Walker (1947-1995) was a professor of German at Colorado State University (CSU) from 1979 to 1995. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1969, he spent a year in Germany on a Fulbright Fellowship. Upon returning to the United States, Walker was drafted into the U.S. Army following a student deferment and fought in the Vietnam War.
