Robert N. Cavarra was an organist, musicologist, and published composer who taught from 1963 to 2000 as faculty for Colorado State University's Department of Music, Theater and Dance. Colorado State University's Lory Student Center (LSC) is home to student organization offices, event facilities, a bookstore, computer store, food court, and other student amenities. The LSC opened in 1962, and a renovation was completed in 2014. The fiftieth anniversary of the student center was observed with celebratory events in 2012.
