Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series contains NPIC's stock ledgers, stock certificate books, lists of stockholders, and related files, including transfers and correspondence. Files are grouped by type and arranged chronologically therein. Note that the stock certificate books are fragile, and to aid in stability, some inserted documents were removed from the books into separate folders following their respective volumes. Documents include letters, legal forms, and wills.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

NPIC's finances are documented here mainly through 100 years of annual audits, though not all years are present. There are two copies of most of the audits, and some include financial statements. Materials also include cash statements, tax forms, letters, accounts receivable cards, reports, and one bound volume which predates NPIC. Two files also relate to the construction of Michigan Ditch, documenting supply inventories and laborer pay. Files are arranged alphabetically by title.

Scope and Contents From the Series: This series documents NPIC's many relationships with other organizations, including associated lateral companies, consulting firms, and government agencies. The organizations best documented here include the Mountain Supply Ditch Company and the Box Elder Ditch and Reservoir Company (sometimes written as Boxelder), both of which merged with NPIC.
