The AVSBILC was formed from the Amity Land Company and the Great Plains Water Company (both incorporated 1898). These two companies were preceded by the Amity Land and Irrigation Company (incorporated 1893) and the Great Plains Water Storage Company (incorporated 1896). Records here document these predecessor companies, primarily through letters and some financial documents.
