The Council of U.S. Universities for Soil and Water Management in Arid and Sub-humid Areas (CUSUSWASH) was a collaboration founded in 1968 between CSU, Utah State University, the University of California, and the University of Arizona. Albertson was on the board of trustees. The Council focused on agricultural development of international regions.
