An index accompanies the numbered slides, giving an almost comprehensive listing of the nearly 500 images. The subject categories are arranged alphabetically. The largest categories are birds, the Colorado River, dams, groundwater, and Utah. While most of the slides are photographs of places, some are of graphs, charts, maps, and other documents.
