Records of the National Bison Association

The National Bison Association was created by the 1995 merger of the American Bison Association (formed in 1975, and known as the American Buffalo Association before 1988) and the National Buffalo Association (chartered in 1966). The National Bison Association's most successful event, The Gold Trophy Show and Sale, has been held nearly every year since 1980 in conjunction with the National Western Stock Show. Collection materials include correspondence, meeting minutes, conference documents, financial records, photographs, videotapes, publications, clippings, and artifacts.
