Dale Hein Mountain Campus Collection
Abstract
Dale Hein, long-time professor of Fishery and Wildlife Biology at the Warner College of Natural Resources, also served as director of the Summer Field Ecology Program at CSU's Pingree Park campus for 10 years. This collection consists of course notes, histories of CSU's mountain campus, photographs, news clippings, and a scrapbook. Photographs that have been digitized are available in Mountain Scholar.

The collection was originally named the Dale Hein Pingree Park Collection. The name was changed in May 2024 to the Dale Hein Mountain Campus Collection to accurately describe the subject location and to remove the association with George Pingree, an active participant in the 1864 Sand Creek Massacre.
