History
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Agri-Marketing Association was formed in 1967 and successfully petitioned for chapterhood during 1975. The National Agri-Marketing Association was founded as a forum for people engaged in sales and marketing of agricultural products and services. Through sharing new ideas, networking with colleagues and customers, and gaining exposure and recognition for those who have excelled in the agricultural industry, the organization promoted the agricultural community. Although the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Agri-Marketing Association was fairly active during the 1970s, meetings have not been held since 1980.

Abstract
The mission of the National Agri-Marketing Association is to connect those who work in agriculture with other professionals who work in marketing, advertising, public relations, and the media. It is NAMA's hope that these interactions will provide those who work in agriculture an opportunity to hear and share new ideas, network with colleagues and customers, and gain exposure and recognition in order to advance in their profession. This collection consists of the files, photos, membership information, correspondence and financial papers of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of NAMA.
Arrangement
The collection consists of one document case and one oversize folder. The original alphabetical order, according to folder title, has been maintained.
Acquisition
The Records of the National Agri-Marketing Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter, was acquired by the Colorado Agricultural Archive in 1981. The collection was transferred to the Colorado State University Libraries in February 2004 as part of the Colorado Agricultural Archive.
Processing
Processing was completed in March 2005 and included removal of all metal paper clips and staples. The only items not retained in the collection were duplicated documents or articles that had no relevancy to the organization's operations. Special attention was given to a scrapbook which included photographs and newspaper clippings. The decision was made to keep the scrapbook intact, so measures were taken to minimize further deterioration by placing acid-free paper between the pages. The collection was then placed in acid-free folders and boxes.
