Documents, 1879 and 1881
Scope and Contents
This series consists of two documents written by Edwards and a copy of the Act and Certificate to certify laws pertaining to the Agricultural College of Colorado. The first of Edwards' documents is a letter to the State Board of Agriculture accepting the position to be the first president of Colorado State University. The second document is a report he wrote to the Board on the school's progress when classes started in 1881. Materials are arranged chronologically.
