Western Colorado Projects Review. Summaries of Bureau of Reclamation Western Slope Water Projects, 1987 March
Scope and Contents
From 1983 to 1990, the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority conducted, at the request of local sponsors, several feasibility studies to find potential projects for the Authority to finance. The engineering reports and basic data from the Authority-funded water planning studies constitute this series. The studies were conducted in the following river basins: Turkey Creek (San Juan River), Upper Gunnison River, Cache la Poudre River, St. Vrain River, Blue River, San Luis Valley Confined Aquifer, Cherry Creek, Clear Creek, and Fraser River.
Specific water project examinations in the series include: Coffintop Dam (St. Vrain), Castlewood Dam (Cherry Creek), Tunnel No. 1 (Clear Creek), Ranch Valley Dam (Fraser), Wolford Mountain Dam (Colorado), and Grey Mountain Dam (Cache la Poudre). This series is maintained in original order and is divided into nine project-based subseries and one miscellaneous maps subseries.
