Photographic materials, 1888-1992 and undated

 Sub-Series
Identifier: Subseries 3.1

Scope and Contents

This subseries contains a variety of photographs, several of which are of Parshall. The arrangement is by format type, including photographs, glass plate negatives, lantern slides, and modern slides. A small set of photographs/negatives is arranged chronologically; another larger one is arranged alphabetically. The latter contains numerous images related to seepage, some related to Rohwer's study of canal linings, some of Parshall, and some of the North Poudre Canal. The lantern slides depict flumes and weirs, water measuring devices, and a variety of graphs, tables and maps; the slides also depict flumes, weirs, graphs, tables, and drawings. Some are from Parshall's publications. Lantern slides are numbered consecutively and groupings reflect original containers. Conventional slides are inserted in slide holders and groupings reflect original containers.
