Calhan, 1906-1943

This subseries consists of U.S. Department of Commerce Records of Climatological Observations forms, which record daily precipitation and temperatures as well as occasional additional meteorological information. Other names for these forms include: Record of Climatological and Hydrological Observations; Record of Evaporation and Climatological Observations; and Record of River and Climatological Observations. These materials are arranged in three chronological categories: 1893 to 1949, 1950-1979 and 1980-1984. Materials are arranged alphabetically by station name within the categories. Station names are typically the name of the city, town, or landmark where the observations took place. Inventory Summary Sheets are included at the end of the subseries. Summary sheets are lists of dates contained in each individual station folder.
