 File — Box: 67, Folder: 15
Identifier: Series 4

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series consists of files relating to the San Juan Recovery Implementation Program, which was established to recover the Colorado pikeminnow and razorback sucker while allowing water development and activities to continue in the San Juan River Basin. Several drafts of the San Juan Recovery Implementation Program and files from the project Steering Committee (1994-2008) and the project Coordination Committee (1993-2003) comprise the majority of the files, while files relating to monitoring endangered species along the San Juan River Basin and a variety of smaller projects are also present. Topics include water law, water rights, water quality, endangered species rehabilitation, the Federal Endangered Species Act, fish stocking, and hydrology. Files retain the order and numbering created by Pitts, which groups a mix of committees, issues, and activities under an 1804 category with further subcategorization. Materials include correspondence, progress reports, biological reports, work plans, meeting minutes, presentations, and publications. See Series 6 for correspondence files.
