Centennial, publicity, 1969-1970
Scope and Contents
The inauguration of Chamberlain was held in conjunction with the centennial celebration of the founding of CSU, on February 11, 1970. The official name of the celebration was Centennial Founder's Day Convocation and Inauguration of A.R. Chamberlain as President of Colorado State University. Materials include planning documents, invitations, and lists of speakers and events. Some materials are only for the centennial, others only for the inauguration, but many cover both. There is a significant collection of materials produced by other universities regarding the planning of their centennials; these were gathered by CSU for planning purposes. Materials are organized by activity.
