Proceedings of the National Reclamation Association, 1932-1968
Scope and Contents
The Papers of the National Water Resources Association includes documents from the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District and the personal files of J. R. Barkley while he served on the National Reclamation Association (1934-1969), the National Water Resources Association (1970-1974), the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy Board (1937-1942), and various other water-related committees. The chronological section of the main portion of this guide shows the development of the National Water Resources Association from 1932 to 1974. Additional miscellaneous folders, originally filed separately from the National Reclamation Association, are arranged alphabetically. The use and allotment of water in the western United States, and Colorado in particular, are well documented in this collection. The collection contains newspaper clippings, early photocopies, smudging carbon and pencil copies, and low-grade paper.
