Steering Committee support materials, 1982-1983

This series consists of the meeting minutes and agendas for the Executive Committee (EC), arranged chronologically, beginning in 1909. While a version of it began meeting before the Faculty Council formed, the EC is a subcommittee of the Faculty Council, and its membership has changed over the years from the executive officers of the university to elected representatives from each department. It facilitates decision-making between Faculty Council meetings and sets the Faculty Council's meeting agenda. The series includes meeting minutes and agendas from the Steering Committee, which performed the duties of the EC from 1969 until 1992. EC minutes and agendas from January 1955 to June 1957 are missing. All meetings and agendas from April 2011 to May 2021 and August 2022 to May 2023 are digital only. This series also includes support materials from 1964 to 2010 and a minutes index for 1940 to 1948.
