From the Collection:

The Records of Professional and Academic Organizations consists of documents dated 1930 to 1977, with the bulk falling from 1950 to 1969. The majority of the collection contains records of the Colorado State University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors, including membership and administrative records, faculty salary issues, and the organization's work on academic freedom in Colorado and the United States. The collection also includes transcripts of speeches focused on land grant universities in American education given at CSU by Milton S. Eisenhower in 1945 and William E. Morgan in 1962, records of the Colorado Agricultural and Mechanical College chapter of the Colorado Library Association, and one newsletter from the Faculty Women's Caucus at CSU.
