No. 420: Irrigation Views. Irrigation of Young Forest Trees in Nursery Rows, College Grounds (JDS photo), 1898
Scope and Contents
This series contains nearly 500 glass plate negatives created by Colorado Agricultural College or associated personnel. Images are mainly related to irrigation and agriculture, but other subjects such as veterinary science, animal husbandry, and domestic science are included, as are several images of the campus grounds and buildings. Negatives are housed by size and listed in numerical order, though they may not have all been part of the same run. All prints are in box 9. Negatives from the same envelope are numbered as 1, 2, etc. Duplicates are identified with a, b, etc. A few nitrate negatives found among the glass plate negatives are listed as "box 0" because only scans, not physical items, are available. At the end of the series are a folder of sample envelopes and a couple folders of paper-based materials that give evidence of the collection's origins.
