Photographs and negatives in this subseries provide a visual record for many of Nordin's research projects and several conferences he attended. They document trips to assess river sedimentation in South America, Africa, Asia, and the United States. Folders containing photographs taken in the U.S. record projects in the Mississippi River Basin and streams in the U.S. West. Photographs from international consulting projects in Egypt, Pakistan, China, Venezuela, Brazil, and Colombia mix tourist images of cities and people with images documenting bridges and river channels Nordin assessed as a consultant.
