Edmund and Anna Rhodes, 1952-1978, 1986, undated

This subseries primarily contains Hobbs' letters to and from friends and family. Some work-related letters are filed here as well, along with a file of Boy Scout letters. Important sets of letters are those between Hobbs and Bobbie Hay before they were married, as well as letters to Edmund and Anna Rhodes, Hobbs' maternal grandparents. Both sets reveal Hobbs' thoughts and activities during his formative years. Files are arranged alphabetically by folder title or writer's last name, with a set of letters filed alphabetically by last name found first. This initial set includes prominent water professionals, colleagues, and clergy.
