Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Series:

This subseries contains informational files for Hobbs' entire employment at Davis, Graham and Stubbs. The years 1988 through 1992 are more voluminous than prior years, with the exception of early 1989 missing entirely. The files give a good sense of what Hobbs was working on at the firm, including wilderness issues, the Cache la Poudre River, NCWCD, water and air quality, and endangered species. Also included are materials related to Hobbs' service work, including documents about the Boy Scouts and teaching at the University of Denver. Material types include letters, court documents, articles, legislation, and meeting minutes. Some of Hobbs' articles and drafts are also included. Correspondence represents many leading Colorado lawyers, administrators, and government officials as well as prominent water organizations, such as Denver Water, the Colorado River Water Conservation District, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, and the Colorado Water Congress. Files are in chronological order.
