Scope and Contents

This subseries contains more than 160 published articles, essays, and books written by Justice Hobbs. The wide-ranging topics include the law, legal issues, and the Colorado Supreme Court; water law, water history, and water people; rangering, writing poetry, and exploring Mesa Verde. The writings reflect Justice Hobbs' expert legal mind and extensive knowledge of Colorado water history, along with his sense of humor, passion for education, and poetic sensibility. The writings occasionally include a dose of personal history or a poem. Newspaper articles are compiled in one folder rather than foldered by title. Files are arranged alphabetically by title.
