Consulting work, 1892-2013 and undated

This series documents domestic and international research by Richardson to develop irrigation infrastructure and improve the management of sedimentation and prevention of scour in river beds, behind dams, and under bridges. Richardson provided research and consulting services for these projects but not legal testimony (with the exception of the Schoharie Creek bridge failure files found in Subseries 1.3); Richardson's legal consulting files are in Series 2. Materials include publications, reports, correspondence, proposals and contracts, research data, and reference materials. The series is divided into four subseries: USAID projects, other projects, Federal Highway Administration projects, and professional contacts. The third is by far the largest of the four.
