Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Ruth Wattles was an English and drama professor at Colorado State University from 1918 to 1958. She was released from teaching duties in 1943 through 1945 to write a history of the university. Some of the material in this series has been tentatively identified as relating to the preparation of Wattles' unpublished history, "The Mile High College: the History of Colorado A&M." Ms. Wattles collected many photographs in connection with that project. There are a large number of photographs of unidentified individuals or scenes from campus events and around the Fort Collins area. Additionally, Drama Club scrapbooks dating from the 1920s to the early 1950s are included. The series is arranged by subject and have been assigned identifiers that appear on the back of the images.
